Blocking Users
Your safety is our priority. If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can block them to prevent any further contact.
What Happens When You Block Someone
- •They can no longer send you chat requests or messages
- •They cannot see your posts on Discover
- •You won't see their posts either
- •Any existing conversations will be removed
- •They are NOT notified that you blocked them
How to Block a User
From a Chat Request:
- Open the chat request in your inbox
- Click the "Block" button instead of Accept/Decline
- Confirm the block in the popup dialog
From a Conversation:
- Open the conversation with the user
- Click the menu icon (three dots) in the header
- Select "Block User"
- Confirm the block in the popup dialog
From Your Profile Settings:
- Go to your Profile page
- Navigate to the "Blocked Users" section
- You can view and manage all blocked users here
Managing Blocked Users
You can view and unblock users at any time:
- Go to your Profile page
- Find the "Blocked Users" section
- Click "Unblock" next to any user you want to unblock
Note: Unblocking someone doesn't restore previous conversations or automatically reconnect you.
Consider Reporting Too
If someone is harassing you, sending inappropriate content, or violating our guidelines, please also report them.
